Giada USA Announces P211 OPS Digital Signage Player Which Plugs Directly in Electronic WhiteBoards and Displays
Fifth Generation Core Broadwell CPU and 4K Video for OPS-Compatible Digital Signage
July 29, 2015, Brea, California – Giada Technology, a provider of Micro Servers, Mini-PCs and embedded motherboards, announces a new Mini PC designed for digital signage. The Giada P211 Mini-PC is a Broadwell-based OPS digital signage computer which can be plugged directly into electronic whiteboards and digital signage displays compatible with the Intel® Open Pluggable Specification(OPS). The P211’s 5th Generation Broadwell CPU improves performance while reducing power usage. Its 4K video is capable of powering wall-sized displays at high resolution.
“Intel’s® Open Pluggable Specification(OPS) has revolutionized the digital signage industry with standardized, pluggable interfaces making it easier than ever to install and maintain digital signage and interactive displays,” said Giada USA Sales Director Jessica Hsu. “With the P211, Giada Technology provides a high performance signage computer that takes full advantage of OPS for simplified deployment while reducing maintenance and operational costs.“
4K Graphics, Low Power Usage
The Broadwell Based Giada P211 Mini PC features excellent 4K graphics powered by an Intel Broadwell CPU and HD Graphics 5500/6000. Customers can choose between Core i3, i5 or i7 Broadwell Processors to suit their computing and graphics processing needs. With just 15W TDP, the new processors provide added performance at reduced power usage making digital signage operations cost effective and eco-friendly.
Easy Deployment with OPS
Intel’s Open Pluggable Specification standardizes digital signage computer and display interfaces allowing for better intercompatibility and flexibility. Giada P211 OPS Mini PC is easily pluggable into all OPS-compliant electronic whiteboards, and digital signage displays meaning easy installation and maintenance. Rather than a plethora of cables and connectors, the OPS compliant P211 uses one 80 pin JAE interface to mate with the display and pass through HDMI, audio, USB 3.0, and serial connections.
Reliable 24/7 Operation
Designed for continuous functionality, the Giada P211 is not only low power but made for reliability with a heat dissipating metal chassis and JAHC technology reducing operational maintenance needs. The heat dissipating chassis work with an OPS display’s integrated cooling fans to efficiently cool the system and improve operational reliability. JAHC active hardware management includes self-managing features such as auto-power on after power failure and scheduled system boots or power downs, resulting in reliable operation and easier maintenance of digital signage installations.
