NeoSapphire 3611

the software-defined all-flash array provider, has announced the new
NeoSapphire 3605 and NeoSapphire 3611, a pair of dedicated all-flash
arrays with dual-port 16G Fibre Channel interfaces and sustained 360K
IOPS for 4KB random writes. NeoSapphire 3605 offers 5TB usable capacity
while NeoSapphire 3611 provides 11TB in a very compact 1U rack-mount
form factor. The low latency and high reliability of Fibre Channel
makes these new arrays ideal for demanding, time-critical applications
including banking, finance, and media production. Reliability is
further enhanced by hot-swappable drives and redundant power supplies.

Low-Latency Performance for SANs
The Fibre Channel interfaces ensure low latency for Storage Area
Networks. Dual-port 16G Fibre Channel, and backward compatibility with
8G, makes these arrays easy to integrate into existing SANs for
applications such as banking and media production. Multipathing
features allow connection redundancy for I/O balance, fail-over, and
seamless fault recovery. These features boost IT staff productivity and
make deployment easier.
High-Density
Design with Twenty Drives in 1U Rack Space
The NeoSapphire 3611's dedicated all-flash hardware design makes it an
extremely compact and dense storage solution, with 20 trays of SSDs in
a single rack unit. It offers a substantial saving of rack space,
compared to traditional arrays and competing products, and allows extra
room for future expansion, making it a perfect choice when upgrading
from traditional storage devices. The NeoSapphire 3605 offers 10 trays
of SSDs in 1U rack space.

Performance: Sustained 360K IOPS for 4KB Random Writes
Deploying an AccelStor NeoSapphire 3605 or NeoSapphire 3611 all-flash
array can instantly provide transfer speeds up to 3 times faster than
traditional mechanical hard disk drives. As for random I/O processing,
sustained performance of 360K IOPS helps resolve the storage
bottlenecks that often hamstring operations such as server
virtualization and database traversal.

storage hardware until it is really required. In addition, zero-page
deduplication purges empty pages to save valuable flash capacity.
