September 23, 2014, Milpitas, California – Thecus Technology Corporation is proud to celebrate its 10th Anniversary of providing innovations in networked storage. This year, Thecus is adopting a new slogan, “Empowering Professionals”, to highlight its core strengths in the changing commercial landscape.
Ten years ago, Florence Shih set out to break ground in the promising new field of network attached storage. With years of personal experience in the PC industry, Florence founded Thecus with a group of renowned engineers that have consistently introduced innovative technologies to the blossoming NAS market such as SATA, RAID 5 for consumers, and 10GbE for SMB.
Thecus came into the limelight in 2005 at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, unveiling the company's very first product lineup including the well received 4-bay N4100 (or “sexy little black box” as Hexus referred to it in their review).
